AHF and DCR Break Ground at the Speedway

Groundbreaking ceremony for the new Charles River Speedway Headquarters Project.

Yesterday marked a turning point in the Charles River Speedway project, as AHF, DCR, DCAMM, and local leaders and community members officially broke ground at the historic recreational complex. More than eighty people gathered for the ceremony, which featured speeches by AHF President Sean McDonnell, 18th Suffolk District Representative Michael Moran, DCR Interim Commissioner Jim Montgomery, and DCAMM Commissioner Carol Gladstone, followed by drinks provided by the Speedway’s anchor tenant, Notch Brewery. We couldn’t have asked for higher spirits, better weather, or a more dedicated group of project team members and advocates. As the project enters its final stage, we look forward to sharing more exciting news and watching the Speedway transform.
